USRider Provides Electronic Magazine for Horse Owners

Lexington, Ky. (Sept.30, 2008) – To help increase the trailering IQ of horse owners, USRider has developed a new online magazine. Released quarterly in February, May, September and November, the magazine will run 16 to 24 pages and provide a plethora of helpful information geared toward those who travel with horses. USRider’s Hitch Up! Magazine will launch in November 2008.

“Responsible horse trailering is no accident. It takes a great deal of knowledge and preparation,” said Mark Cole, managing member for USRider. “With an emphasis on safety, we will cover all aspects of horse trailering from truck and trailer maintenance to trailering vacations.”

Through its Equestrian Motor Plan, USRider offers nationwide roadside assistance especially for equestrians. The plan includes standard features such as flat-tire repair, battery assistance and lockout services, plus towing up to 100 miles and roadside repairs for tow vehicles and trailers with Horses, emergency stabling, veterinary and farrier referrals, and more.

The electronic magazine was originally developed to provide USRider Members with useful information about trailering Horses. Since the content will be helpful to anyone who travels with Horses, USRider is making the magazine available online at www.usrider.org all visitors may subscribe for free by clicking here: www.usrider.org/AccountManager/Hitchup.aspx.

“This is an initiative that we have wanted to do for some time now – it’s something our Members have indicated overwhelmingly that they would like us to provide. We are extremely pleased to partner with leading equine publisher, Horse Media Group on this initiative.” said Cole.

The magazine is being developed with leading equine publisher, Horse Media Group, a division of Belvoir Equine Group, publishers of Trail Rider, Perfect Horse, Spin to Win, and the host of MyHorse.com. Horse Media Group, a division of Belvoir Equine Group, was selected because of its long-standing commitment to quality publishing and demonstrated knowledge of the equine industry.
